OUR STORY
Welcome to MoonLight Shepherd Huts, one of Wales' largest shepherd builders, producing around 15 huts a year at our yard in south Wales surrounded by beautiful country side. We specialize in building on/off grid shepherd huts and glamping pods. Our passion is creating unique and sustainable glamping sites that allow people to experience the beauty of the British countryside. We are the founders of the BeeGreen camping club which has been created for conservation and to encourage people to get outdoors. We are determined to help our declining bee population and because of this we have been authorised to issue exemption certificates for up to 5 huts and 10 canvas tents, to qualifying applicants, who agree to some simple rules such as planting bee friendly flora around your site.
Our huts are comparable to some of our more expensive competitors who retails their huts for nearly double the price, yes they may have cedar external cladding and bespoke joinery made kitchens ( ours are Howdens made) however the rental income is the same at around £130 a night, so giving MoonLight shepherd huts a call to discuss your build is definitely worth considering.
SHEPHERD HUTS & GLAMPING PODS
Our shepherd huts and glamping pods are located all around the UK, Each hut is uniquely designed to provide a comfortable and sustainable glamping experience. The facilities in our hut include king size beds, large living room area, fitted kitchen with hob and fridge, with a full size belfast sink, flushable toilet with vanity unit sink and electric shower, and a wood burner for those winter breaks
